Representing Northwest artists at her gallery since 2002, Karin Clarke has only recently began painting and exhibiting her work more seriously. Inspired by various residencies and trips to the coast, her paintings are often softly-lit studies of the places, people, and creatures she has encountered. She hopes to convey a sense of intimacy and romance in her pieces; capturing moments of introspection and appreciation.
