George Kettlewell graduated from Kent State University in 1970 with a BFA in painting. He studied with painters Dan Rohn and Leroy Flint, and sculptor Paul Baus. There he met Kersti Hamann, also an art student. Together they opened an art gallery called Silver Lake Gallery.
They moved to Oregon in 1972. In Cannon Beach, George and Kersti turned to ceramics, had a ceramic studio for 17 years and the Ocean Pottery Gallery for 10 years.

George and Kersti moved their studios to their home in Cannon Beach, and turned again to painting. |
